Emirati in control as he looks to extend lead in F2 world title race

Team Abu Dhabi’s Rashed Al Qemzi provided more evidence today that he has the UIM F2 World Championship under control as he set the early pace in the Grand Prix of Italy.

Al Qemzi, who has carried a 14-point lead over Dutchman Ferdinand Zandbergen into the third round of the series in Brindisi, was in dominant form again during the Group A free practice session, setting a fastest lap of 34.5 secs.
