- Thousands of Formula 1® fans from around the world get the chance to catch a sneak peek at the team preparations and catch a glimpse of drivers before the 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
As Yas Marina Circuit prepares for the 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, fans of the sport were given an inside look at this year’s teams fine tuning their cars today (Thursday) ahead of the on-track action.
Opening the pit lane to three-day ticket holder public enabled F1® fans to get up close to their favourite teams and drivers while they were preparing for what promises to be the biggest and best Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Daniel Ricciardo super fan Pamela, 36, who travelled from Berlin in her native Germany to be here for the big race, said: “I am really looking forward to Sunday, and most importantly, I am hoping that Daniel can finish the race – he’s been a bit unlucky in that regard.
“It’s a great time here at the Circuit and it always looks so good on TV, especially with the sunsets and everything so I am really looking forward to seeing all that for myself. It’s my first time in Abu Dhabi and I absolutely love it. The weather is great and everybody is really friendly and polite – what’s not to love?”
