  • Tis the season to be decorative: Kids and adults can embellish their Christmas trees with ornaments that they will decorate, and those with a sweet tooth will get the chance to decorate Christmas-themed cookies and biscuits!
  • Meet Santa: Nothing completes the Christmas experience like a photo for your little elves with Santa.
  • Get festive: With activities that include a train ride around The Sustainable City, art play —presented by Beitfann — for babies and toddlers to express themselves through colours and shapes, a carousel, and a magic show that will captivate all those in attendance, there truly is something for everyone!
  • Four-legged friends: Pony rides will be available for all those interested, and dogs seeking a loving home will be there to help spread the joy.
  • Everyone’s a winner!: There are a raffle draw and a gingerbread competition, but the true prize lies in sharing this jolly season with loved ones and everyone else!

As part of its activities to broadly communicate its corporate brand and “fasteners (zippers) ”, YKK Corporation(President: Hiroaki Otani; head office: Chiyoda, Tokyo; “YKK”) has created a short anime, “FASTENING DAYS 4”. “FASTENING DAYS 4” is the fourth episode to follow the series “FASTENING DAYS” (released in 2014), “FASTENING DAYS 2” (2016), and “FASTENING DAYS 3” (2017), which have hit a total 30.6 million plays in Japan and abroad. Starting December 5 (Thu), it will become available for global release on YKK’s official YouTube channel (URL:, on the special site (URL:, and on YOUKU (URL: in both English and Japanese audio and with Spanish, Chinese (simplified), French, Thai, Vietnamese subtitles. It will also be distributed as Commercial Ads on YouTube in each country.

In this installment, Yoji, Kei, Kelly, and Oscar the bear robot, who use fasteners to save their town from crisis, are joined by Samhen, a transfer student, and the robot, Jack. Look forward to the vigorous activities the young heroes engage in as one to save their town in a near-future world.

Cadillac grips Sole DXB crowd with #IconsOnly installation

The iconic Cadillac Escalade was center stage complete with rooftop deck, Exhale partnership and an exclusive drop

Cadillac won crowds over at this weekend’s Sole DXB festival with its much anticipated #iconsonly pop-up. Street festival-goers eagerly awaited as the luxury automotive brand opened its doors to this year’s activation, from December 5th to 7th, which paid tribute to one of pop culture’s favorite and most admired vehicles of all time, the Cadillac Escalade.

“Last year we celebrated 20 years on the road with the Escalade – a true milestone for the car that has rightly earned its position as an icon not only in the automotive industry, but as a symbol of success in pop culture, becoming one of the most featured vehicles in music and film,” said Christian Soemmer, Managing Director Cadillac International Operations and Cadillac Middle East. “We wanted to bring the different elements that have shaped the rich culture of the Escalade to life and couldn’t think of a more engaging platform for this than of Sole DXB – home to the region’s incredible street culture and fashion scene.”

Cadillac’s #iconsonly pop-up was kitted out with a stunning rooftop deck giving festival-goers a chance to enjoy sweeping unobstructed 360-degree views of the region’s coolest street festival and unwind with tunes from the Cadillac pop-up residents DJs.

The ‘Big Drop’ element was also a crowd-stopper at the festival. Every 30 minutes Cadillac offered the public the chance to win a token to be redeemed towards their next Escalade purchase.

Cadillac’s partnership with Exhale – a UAE based conceptual fashion brand that integrates art, storytelling and mindfulness with comfort clothing – also attracted avid fashion followers. Exhale showcased their one-off pieces inspired by Cadillac at the brand’s pop-up giving people the chance to see their unique home-grown collection.

This is the fifth year Cadillac has partnered with Sole DXB, the region’s biggest and popular cultural festival for millennials.

The Epic American wartime drama is set to be released across UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman & KSA on the 7th Nov 2019 ahead of the worldwide release date of 8th Nov 2019.

MIDWAY centers on the Battle of Midway, a clash between the American fleet and Imperial Japanese Navy, which marked a turning point in the Pacific Theater during World War II. The film, based on the real-life events of this heroic feat, tells the story of the leaders and soldiers who used their instincts, fortitude and bravery to overcome the odds. It’s a story of brotherhood, camaraderie and the determination and sacrifice of real-life military heroes, to secure an American victory.
