A Winter Wonderland at WAFI

A snow filled Winter Wonderland is coming to WAFI this December. The famous Santa’s Grotto will open its doors on 6th December and WAFI will shine brighter than ever. Visitors can experience the wonders of snow as they enjoy the whimsical touch of magic to the festivities this year.

The opening day on 6th December will welcome visitors with an exceptional choir performance by the children of Dubai British School, Jumeirah Park from 5:00pm onwards. The opening event will be hosted by Kris Fade and will feature the tree lighting ceremony with Santa to mark the beginning of the celebrations.

The crowd-favourite animated displays will feature brand new highlights such as polar bears, carousels and so much more. The magical wonderland will take place from 6th – 24th December and children who visit Santa in his grotto will receive a soft toy, a framed photograph with Santa, a raffle coupon for a chance to win one of the two exciting prizes with Lufthansa German Airlines and many more offers for only AED 60!

Little ones who visit the grotto will be able to enjoy an arts & crafts area sponsored by Matalan and the fun-filled snow park while patiently waiting to meet Santa. Children can post their Christmas wishes in a letter to Santa and have a chance to make their dreams come true! Complementing the Christmas merriments, the festive Light and Sound Show will run every evening at 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

Customers can shop unique gifts at kiosks located near the grotto throughout this period or pay a visit to a very festive ARTE Market from 16th – 22nd December.
